Abstract:
With the development of the detector technology, the energy discriminating photon counting detectors have been widely used in Spectral CT imaging. The relationship between energy and threshold is very important for Spectral CT Imaging. Being subjected to experiment conditions, the current energy calibration methods of photon counting detector have some limitations. In order to solve single pixel energy calibration of photon counting detector, this paper describes an energy calibration methods using continuous X-ray Spectrum. Energy information of the high energy end in continuous spectrum is used to determine the relationship between energy and threshold by building and analyzing X-ray model. Experimental results show that this method has the advantages of convenient operation and relatively accurate result, which can also be referenced by other energy calibration methods.
