Discussion on Emergency Plan of CT Examination for Resuming Work and Production

  • Objective:after the unsealing of COVID-19, the number of patients increased sharply. Combined with the prevention and control of nosocomial sensation, the radiology department discussed how to do a large number of CT examination to optimize the emergency plan. Materials and methods:with the strong support of the hospital, the department first divided the patients into multi-district evacuation and medical technology one post multi-person system. The patient is divided into four areas:the evacuation area, the waiting area, the film inspection area and the film report area; each area has a special person to guide, with a group of 10 people and the distance between people is more than 1.5m. The guide will wait from the evacuation area to the waiting area to register and wait, and then wait for the inspection area to check in turn, and then wait for the results of the report at the end of the inspection. Results:through the summary of the week compared with the same period last year, the daily work efficiency of the most one-day CT machines increased by 38.77%, and the average work efficiency per week increased by 32.52%. After optimizing the examination process, the patient complaint rate and error rate were reduced to zero, and the result of the CT report was shortened by less than 1 hour from the original 4 hours. Conclusion:in the extraordinary period of COVID-19 epidemic, it is very necessary and feasible to optimize the examination process for a large number of CT examinations, and it is worth popularizing and applying in the special examinations with large number of patients in the future.
