    Reservoir Automatic Recognition Using Logging Evaluation in Deep Red Bed of Dongying Sag

    • The deep reservoir of Dongying sag is a set of red bed under dry sedimentary environment. The reservoir of Es4x and Ek1z has large thickness and great exploration potential possess. This paper draws the cross plots and radar maps of favorable reservoirs, reservoirs and non-reservoirs by a large number of logging data collation and statistics in the study area. Five main logging curves(AC, SP, GR, R4, CNL) describing reservoirs in this area are analyzed and optimized. Then, the geological stratification, oil testing and logging data of wells in this area can be used to obtain quantitative evaluation templates for favorable reservoirs, reservoirs and non-reservoirs of Es4x and Ek1z layer. Finally, automatic evaluation software is developed based on the evaluation template. With this software, the physical properties of reservoir can be directly identified without complex logging interpretation, and it has certain application value.
