Clinical, Pathological and Imaging Manifestations of Novel Coronavirus Infection

  • The novel coronavirus infection, also known as COVID-19, can be detected, diagnosed, and differentiated using chest computed tomography (CT) scans. CT scans are considered the best imaging method for early detection and accurate diagnosis of the disease. They are essential for clinical classification, treatment selection, monitoring disease progression, assessing risk factors, and predicting patient prognosis. This article aims to enhance the understanding and diagnostic capabilities of clinical and imaging physicians by reviewing the epidemiology, pathological changes, clinical manifestations, and CT features of COVID-19.
