MRI Diagnosis of Ovarian Fibromatosis: A Clinical Case Analysis

    • Ovarian fibromatosis (OF) is an extremely rare, benign ovarian lesion that occurs primarily in young women. The related pathological alterations are characterized by the enlargement of one or both ovaries, with the proliferation of collagen-rich spindle-shaped fibrous tissue cells that surround the residual ovarian tissue. In this study, we described and summarized the imaging manifestations and characteristic signs of this condition based on a rare case of bilateral ovarian fibromatosis, aiming to assist in the clinical treatment and surgical approaches for this disease through a precise diagnosis.
