  • Objective To investigate the application value of 3D reconstruction with spiral CT in lumbar trauma. Methods: 76 cases with Lumbar trauma were examined by CT axial scan,the images of each were done by 3D reconstruction (SSD,MPR) and then compared with routine 2DCT.Result: The location and types of Lumbar fracture,Lumbar three columns structure,narrowing of Lumbar canal,the nerve roots and spinal cord to be compressed were revealed accurately and stereoscopically by 3D imaging.Conclusion: 3D reconstruction of spiral CT is an important complement of trans-axial images.It is helpful to select reasonable treatment plan and judge curative effect.It can help to show vertebra trauma and display intervertebral disk trauma intuitionistically.
