  • Objective: To study the clinical manifestations,CT and MRI diagnosis and differential diagnosis of cysts in lumbosacral canal,to make a further understanding of the disease. Methods: Imaging features in 19 patients with pathologically proved cyst lumbosacral canal,were retrospectively analyzed.MRI was performed in all 19 cases,of which additional CT scan was carried out in 11 cases. Results: The enteric cysts in 2 cases,spinal meningeal cysts in 17 cases;2 cases are multiple,17 cases are single,there are 7 cases were discovered by CT scanning in 11 cases,all were discovered by MRI. Conclusion: MRI was the best examining method for diagnosis of spinal meningeal cyst.Thus,MRI was helpful for its diagnosis and management.CT scanning had certain diagnostic value.
