The First Study on CT Experiment Way for Gas Hydrate

The nature gases will be principal type energy resources in 21st century. It’s set free may be very harmful to environment climate. Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is of higher ground where have the condition of temperature and pressure for the existence of gas hydrates. The investigation of the gas hydrates in alpine permafrost regions on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is of great significance for our government. The CT technology is very efficacious for hydrates experiment , which can directly, exactly and quantity observing hydrates process. This paper first give the CT function of hydrates experiment, introducing technology principle, install, count, parameters. This method give possible for observe hydrates process in multi-porosity medium.
