Fast Reconstruction of Fan-beam CT Using Symmetry Backprojection and Iterative Technique

  • To improve CT image reconstruction speed of fan-beam filtered backprojection (FBP), thispaper proposes a method combining backprojection symmetry with iterative technique to reduce backprojection calculation. Research shows the speed can be improved about 23 times by this method, and it can’t bring reconstruction result new error.
