  • In these years, x-ray security inspection technology is developing rapidly due to the needs of airport security. This paper reviews the main techniques of using x-ray to inspect exploder and other contraband. It describes the methods of material recognition in single energy system, dual energy system, dual view system, scatter system, CT and stereo matching technique. Then we make a discussion and comparison among these methods. Lastly it gives foreground of the x-ray security inspection technology.
