  • Objective To study CT manifestations of splenic tumour and to evaluate CT in their diagnosis. Materials and Methods Plain and enhanced CT scaning were performed in 22 patients with pathologically proved splenic were performed in 22 patients with pathologically proved splenic tumour, which included hemangioma (n=3), lymphangioma (n=1), hamartoma (n=1), splenic involvement due to maligmant lymphoma (n=4), splenic metastases (n=4). Results : CT scan could easily detect splenic tumours, and colud well demonstrate the size, shape, density of the lesion and the surrounding structures as well. Conclusion : CT is a preferred imaging examination for this disease. CT is very helpful for the diagnosis of splenic tumour.
