Comparison of Four MR Scanning Sequence for Liver

  • Purpose: To study the best MR sequence for liver examination. Methods: Scanning 29 patient's liver with four sequence (SEMSH, Tse11, Tse23),measure and calculate Ihe SNR and CNRmeanwhile evaluate the images with vision. Results: The first-string film ratio of FLASH and Tse23 aresuperior to that of SE and Tse11 sequence; On T1 weighted images, the SNR and CNR of FLASH is superiorto that of SE sequence,on T2 weighted images, the SNR and CNR of Tse23 is lower than Tse11 saquence.Conclusion : The FLASH sequence is the first choice for liver MR examination and the Tse23 sequence canassist it to get more information.
