  • The essence of fatigue is short crack initiation and propagation, research of fatigue crack by high resolution Computed Tomography (CT) is a research focus in the area of fatigue. In this paper, firstly, the research development of high resolution CT is summarized, and indicates that research of crack is possible in china. Secondly, recent research situation at home and abroad of fatigue crack propagation by high resolution CT are summarized. Lastly, the development directions in the future of CT are pointed out.
