The Research on Match Algorithm in Tire Meridian Detection System

In this paper we combine the actual image of the tire,on the bases of large amounts of experiments,the method fitted to the tire meridian detection is summarized.First,the image preprocessing is conducted,including gray-scale transformation,threshold transform,edge detection,contour extraction,and seed filling.And then because the large calculated amount,slow matching speed,imprecise exist in the original template matching algorithm;we propose the second exact matching algorithms to solve this problem,obtaining the final satisfactory result.
