Simulation of High Energy X-CT Detector Based on Gas Electron Multiplier by MCNP Program

  • MCNP program in Monte Carlo is used to investigate the photoelectric conversion efficiency of detector with different energies or materials, and proving a gas detector which makes use of high density thin sheet metal as the photoelectric converter.Photoelectric transformation efficiency of X photon would had a significant change. The project has a considerable application prospect of development.
