  • Objective:Through analyzing and thinking about the diagnosis process of a novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19) patient diagnosed in our hospital and the impact of the current epidemic situation, to enhance the public and hospital's awareness and prevention and control of public health emergencies. Methods:The patient's epidemiological history, previous medical history, and the diagnosis of the disease were investigated in detail, the results of various inspections were recorded, related literatures were consulted and compared, and the impact of the epidemic on personal and public health was investigated. Results:The patient was diagnosed with novel coronavirus pneumonia through laboratory examination, chest CT examination and pharyngeal swab nucleic acid examination. The patients were isolated and treated in a timely manner, and many medical staff contacted with the patient were isolated and observed. Conclusion:The outbreak of this epidemic is acute and rapid, and the population is generally susceptible. Individuals, hospitals, and the public should improve their understanding of the epidemic, strengthen prevention and control measures, and ensure public health safety.
